Aby włączyć kody, wpisujemy najpierw na klawiaturze słowo marvin. Powinniśmy ujrzeć napis "marvin mode activated". Jeśli zamiast tego widzimy dziwne kwadraciki, należy włączyć post processing. Teraz, aby wejść w konsolę, klikamy klawisz ~ (pod escape). W otwartym u góry okienku możemy teraz wpisywać kody. Uwaga - wielkość liter ma znaczenie!
Inny sposób na włączenie kodów: Wchodzimy w plik docelowy x\Gothic III\Ini\ge3.ini. W ge3.ini zmieniamy TestMode=false na TestMode=true.
Co zrobić żeby konsola nam się nie rozmazywała? (żeby w ogóle było ją dobrze widać?) W pliku Data tworzymy nowy folder "_compiledImage" (BEZ " ")
